Can a T12 pet (Divinix) defeat Rouland? What is the best set to use? I pretty much have a lot of good stuff but is it good enough?

I was able to get five wins with my early T12 (Sweetheart).

His main icon types are dark, fire, and wind.

A lot of people use Maniacal Essence, Natasha, Blessed Trident, or Swashbuckle against him.

After the weapon revamp, you can also now use Cork Tipped Cutlass, Malhuili, Malignant Rift Staff, or Pale Floral Hand Cannon to cover these icon types.

He can freeze so remember to use Parched Baguette or Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystals.

If you have Strength of the Paramnesia Scroll, that one would be the best infinite use scroll to use against him.

Last but not least comes his blessing, which can prevent you from freezing. You can either forfeit the match when his blessing goes up and prevents your chain freezing, or you can opt for different scrolls like Rage of the Paramnesia or Gift of the Forj for healing. I went with the healing route personally because I find his blessing very annoying. Your pet’s intel might be a limiting factor though. It doesn’t look like it can equip many scrolls 😦

Considering your pet's AP, I think your pet may struggle to get many wins on him. My pet was able to defeat him 10 times with the following stats last year, but I struggled a bit even with my AP at 131.

Health: 2633 / 5349 Strength: 4503 Defense: 2877 Speed: 2877 Intelligence: 2103 AP: 131

Hopefully you can pull some wins using some of the input from . I definitely recommend increasing your AP for all future battles. Good luck!

thank you both for your input. I have been slowly raising a second battle pet and I am having to relearn a lot of things. I have natasha, blessed trident, and swashbuckle. I don't have any good dark blockers. Speaking of ME, I already have the gelatin concoction. It sounds like it would be worth it to combine it into a ME.

I am using the aftershocks scroll for consistent healing. Gift of the forj is a great healing scroll but it's one use only, so I'm using aftershocks.

What two weapons should I blow up to make the fight easier?

Madison is at 8 wins and she just cannot seem to get past Roland's last two throws. She has 10 SOD scrolls and 8 Morsbanes, but she is poor and cannot afford any more scrolls and weapons. She's using :

It seems to me that Rouland has a curse that prevents Madison from getting any critical hits. Consequently, her attacks are all fairly low, between 1500-2000 Attack points per throw, never higher, so she simply chips away at Rouland until all her SODs are spent and his blessings and curses kick in and he hits her hard with his critical strikes at 6000-7000 hps. She gets so close..then WHAM! He throws a lot of Wind!

do you mind sharing the weapons and scrolls you used? My battle pet is at similar (slightly lower) stats but I can’t seem to get my sixth win.

I have several other weapons and scrolls I could swap out if necessary.

Your biggest downfall is your AP.

I would make that your next battle goal to work on and Rouland will be a breeze next year. SubetaLodge has some nice checklists to sort by price so you can gobble up a few inexpensive books to add another scroll or two.

Believe it or not, I used the exact same set minus Natasha. I used a nearly unobtainable magma blocker instead, since I didn't have a fire or wind block at the time (still don't have fire LOL!) I don't recommend swapping Natasha for Blessed Trident since it was recently nerfed.

I don't recall the exact scrolls that I used, but it was probably very similar to yours (I used Aftershocks at the time.) You could try replacing the Spacial Abyss scrolls with Shrieks to increase your chain freeze chances. I have two you can borrow, if you'd like. Other than that, it may just come down to needing a bit more in stats.

You can borrow my Shrieks if you think they may help. I have 5 of them. If you have leftover AP, I also have 4 other not-as-good freezing scrolls.

: Thank you so very much, your offer is generous! I changed Madison's tactics a bit last night, I armed her with 10 Shrieks of Despair and 10 Cobalt Eternals. (because Rouland starts casting freezing and Wind weapons as his HP diminishes. )

Consequently, Madison got her 10th win, got the achievement and the Manifesting Weapon. Granted, she didn't get 10 wins in this year, but hey...10 wins is 10 wins!

Thanks for the advice! I do have an additionnal Shriek and a Cold Blast scroll that I can use, so I will try with that and maybe 1-2 Cobalts for defence.

At least I know that if I don't make the 10 wins this year, I definitely can do it next year!

You can try swapping out a triple threat for aftershocks to do more damage. How are your weapons modded? He can be super annoying when the blessing activates.

I would turn auto select on and click until one of two things happened: -I died to a random crit or froze -My pet's health dropped below a threshold of 1500 HP, where I would select one of the two healers and keep going.

I have 3 parched baguettes and 1 critical strike crystal on the ME and 2 parched baguettes, 1 natural armor cristal and 1 wind moonstone crystal on Natasha

Try swapping out the blessing of natural armor for another crit strike and the moonstone for a wind marquise crystal. The marquise is better to do more damage.

Can anybody truly explain what the hell a Manifesting Weapon is good for? And seriously...what is up with the new scroll?

Manifesting Weapon is one of the best available water blocking weapons. If your opponent does a lot of damage in water icons, then you'll want to use this weapon. The new scroll is a bit expensive AP-wise for what it does, so some of us hope it will be restatted or at least the AP cost will go down.

According to 's Battle Guide Rouland does not block Water. So if you're going to attach any attacking crystals, you'll probably want to go with water. I use Water Brilliant Crystal since the others are pricey. You can also use a Dark Water Potion each turn for a little extra damage.

Triple Threat may work well because it blocks some of his damage. His scrolls can block a lot of the damage you'd be doing with Aftershocks, so it may not be a whole lot better. You definitely want to try it all though to squeeze out some wins!

Tried Aftershocks, but Triple threat seems to work better because of the extra defence. Also boosted my battler a bit because I do think that I was missing some health / strength.
