I was on hiatus for about three years. So I've missed a lot of updates here. I'm just wondering how you turn a pet into a Bhakoru nowadays? I have a link saved to the crystal that used to be able to do this, but now that link leads to a blank page. Could anyone help please? Thanks in advance.

curently the miracle potion(1 or 2, can never recall which does species) is the only way I know of, ever since the crystals been borked with no fix in the current future from what I gather

Probably the cheapest way is to change your pet to a Nostalgic Bhakoru, then use a potion for the color you want. As far as I know, that's still possible.

You can use the Bhakoru nostalgic instructions and Essence of melody.

The crystal page was broken since at least summer 2022, and there was a news post on Aug 31, 2022 saying: "Note: Sometime in September, you will be able to create bhakorus."

And then on Oct 11, 2022: "I know some of you are just itching to get your bhakoru and I'm very sorry we didn't get it out last month! It hasn't been forgotten, just pushed to the side a bit while various issues on site were being worked on. It'll be dino time soon, my friends."

Who knows what's going on?

Thank you all for the replies. I was hoping I could go the cheap way of changing the pet species without losing the color xD. Looks like I'll have to go the alternative route then. It sucks that the bug still hasn't been fixed :(...
