My pet recently became tier 9 but my weapons are still tier 6. I'm not good at battling, at all. I don't know when to use healers or freezers, I don't know what stats I should be focusing on, and I have no idea what scrolls I should be using. The bulk of my battling is daily quests and when events have challengers but I'd love to get into it more. I'm just... not very good at it right now! Any advice is desperately needed and sincerely appreciated, thank you!!

I've seen how expensive battling is and I'd love to avoid spending millions of sP unless those items are essential, and/or will be used for future sets. I have 70 very hard battle tokens and 15k frag crystals if those shops have anything worth buying! If I've missed anything please let me know. Thank you so much!!

So basically, what you need in a battle are: 2 infinite use attackers 1 to 2 healers (if healing is enabled) 1 or 2 boosters, which boosts your stats during the duration of battle 2 blasters 0 or 1 freezer depend on opponents And for scrolls, you need one infinite use scroll with either a bunch of freezing scrolls or healing or blocking scrolls

For your whole battle life, I would ask you to save for these healers: These two are the most powerful healers in the game and it keep growing with your pets so they deserve a place in your set Another two weapons that worth mention are blasters that cripple your opponents' weapons into junk items so it gives you more time to breath, these two are: Apart from those 4 mentioned, another weapons mentioned below are not what benefit you in your whole battle life but they do help you in your tier , it can be purchased in the battle shop with hard tokens , it can be purchased in the crystal shop After that, you need two infinite use constants to make up your set The above two can be purchased in the battle shop with extreme hard tokens, but it might be hard for you to earn them now with your set and pet If you are willing to spend a bit (but they become less useful in higher tier), you can try:

For scrolls, it depends on whether your opponent can be frozen or not, but a infinite use scroll is a must in every battle (except for those with scrolls disabled) is the cheapest infinite use scroll that you can use for your whole battle life Other ones that are reachable are and but they are way too expensive so I don't quite recommend right now After that you will need either a bunch of freezing scrolls like or to freeze your opponents when freezing is enabled When it is not, it is better to use defensive scrolls like from the millionaire center or create one in the Secluded Shrine Another ones are healing scrolls like and but they can be pricey to buy one right now So for opponents can be frozen, the set becomes sth like this: + *as much as you can equip Otherwise just go with: + or a mix of depending on opponents' icon types

Oh and last thing is that you should use crystals to mod your weapons too and are the most useful crystals to use from the battle shop (or user shops) Mod them to your two infinite use constant weapons so that it prevents freezing from opponents when the blessing is activated on your side After that you might find yourself being able to beat the General Error for 10 times to win a to use eventually:)

gave you a lot of useful information. One thing I would add about infinite use scrolls is that you can buy a to use until you win in the future. Feather Explosion uses a bit more AP, but that's what I did until I won an Aftershocks Scroll. Don't buy one of the infinite use scrolls that are tens of millions - you will eventually win those and your sP is better spent elsewhere.

Also, you can equip for healing until you earn the more expensive healing scrolls.

I should be saving up for then using the Blackmoon Sword and Phoenix Saber to replace my Hydra Blade and Harpoon

My set/scrolls are in the order I listed the items, and I have two unfilled slots. Does everything look correct? + should I be filling those two slots with anything, or am I okay for now with this build? Thank you both again!!

I looked at my T8 set to get an idea. You can add to your set for now. Hopefully they put in the crystal shop soon and you can buy one of those. I would not buy it at its current price. You could even add your as a second bomb. Usually, when I have an extra slot, I will put a blocker or healer or another bomb in its place.

You can equip multiple Sancturia Exodin scrolls (create them at Secluded Shrine - it's much cheaper) and Morosbane scrolls. You don't want to equip multiple infinite use scrolls though. You want to exhaust your AP to maximize your chances in battle. Scrolls are basically another weapon slot. Your pet has 107 AP right now, so try to fill up your scroll set to 107 or as close as possible. You could add 8 more Sancturia Exodin scrolls or 4 more Morosbane scrolls or a mixture...or other scrolls as well! Just to give you an idea, my defensive scroll set for my T8 with 75 AP looks like this:

The more AP your pet has - the more scrolls you can equip. Definitely keep increasing your pet's AP.

I added and to the end of my set, is that okay? I don't really know when to swap between using a weapon and things like the temple shard, I just use them in order. Is that something I should be paying attention to?

Thankfully, I already knew about scroll crafting and have been saving up since I started playing! I made the first Sancturia Exodin Scroll, and now a second. I also bought another Morosbane Scroll as well. I don't currently have enough ingredients to make anymore but I'll keep saving up! I've been going out of my way to up my pets intelligence because of their job so no slacking there!

For what you have right now in weapons, I think you can work with that set. I would prefer another blaster or healer myself, but they are expensive and you'll need to save for them. With the ongoing weapon revamp, I honestly don't know about weapons right now. lol! I mostly wanted to chime in about scrolls. Hopefully someone else that knows more about the weapons post-revamp can offer their input.

As far as strategy and order of using weapons, I would use the freezer (gorgun) on first turn (if freezing is enabled for that opponent) and you can choose to use your Shinwas Temple Shard to block any incoming damage while you freeze them or you can choose an infinite use weapon (hydra blade or harpoon). Once they're frozen, I would use the Recycle Blaster and a bomb. Then I'd use both infinite use weapons with your infinite use scroll until you need to heal. The defensive scrolls can be used to block damage if you need to heal or blast or freeze, depending on what you're doing. The healing scrolls should be used when you need healing. Mostly you'll be using your infinite use scroll, which damages, blocks and heals to a degree. I hope this helps you understand! I feel like this is the part that confuses casual battlers and I wish there was an easy to understand guide that showed the order of weapon use. I know it would help me a lot as well!

Thank you both for the help!! I did much better in my battle quests today and managed to defeat a ton of enemies I previously couldn't. I can even defeat most of the event challengers! Not the ghoul though, maybe next year.

Congrats on your successes! I use two bombs for the first turn of each Battle Quest up to around level 20 to power through. It feels good when you climb higher and defeat more challengers. Good luck!
