seeking opinions/advice on pet overlay idea

sooo my pet Moonshiner is almost complete. the last things i need to do are write her story, and commission an overlay. however, i'm struggling with the logistics of how i want the overlay to look, and i'd like to have a clear explanation (and reference image) for the artist.
the character is a roller derby athlete, so i'd like to have her drawn on skates. i guess this would mean standing her upright, but i don't want her to look fully anthro, as i'd like her overlay to complement that of her girlfriend, Vivisect. wearing skates on all fours is of course an option, but then i worry that might come across as too goofy.
there's also the matter of clothes; vivisect i feel can get away without them because she's only wearing jewelry, so it's not super conspicuous that she's wearing some things but not others, and bats already only have two legs so she doesn't look much more anthro than a regular lasirus. BUT a pig wearing skates (+ maybe a helmet and padding) but nothing else feels kind of... awkwardly naked? so i'm sort of leaning toward bipedal with clothes, but then i have to wonder if that won't look too weird and mismatched next to viv's overlay.
so basically none of the options feel quite right to me! i'd love to hear if anyone else had thoughts/ideas/input on this matter, as it's been quite a struggle for me to get a clear mental image of what i want lol.
man i agree, this is a hard one!! i think... ultimately quadrupedal is the best option? because it keeps the stance of the original art (as vivi's does as well), plus Technically you Could put clothes on her if she's quad also but i think it may be worth a try to just do skates + helmet (+ pads maybe)

hmmm thanks for the input. i don't know why i've been having such a hard time visualizing what i want this to look like. maybe i just have to abandon the vision to the artist and trust in the process. oh god, is this what it's always like for non-artistically-inclined people?

Maybe the overlay could feature her stepping into the skates.That way you won't have to draw in all 4 skates. You can leave 1 or 2 laying on the ground.

that's sort of what i was imagining in terms of having her on 2 legs, actually—still obviously a quadruped but able to go about on her back legs as needed. like just a half step up from the "stylized animal" level of official subeta pet art.

What about, instead of "traditional" wheels on boots, just go for a single wheel on each foot? More like this:
