(i'm pretty sure there's a rule about not mentioning banned users, but i think that means specifically by username? i can't actually find the rule now but i swear i saw it somewhere. sorry if this question is a violation of that rule!) so far as i can tell that means a user was banned/suspended, but i was curious if that applies to people who deactivate their accounts as well? and does the strikethrough go away? sometimes i see people who posted today or yesterday with a striken-through name, and it sort of surprises me that someone would be banned so soon after posting. i guess it can happen at any time, though! maybe it's just surprising to see banned people when the community seems pretty small to begin with :P
yes, it also applies to users who have self-frozen.
thanks for the reply! that's good to know. does self-freezing do anything aside from indicate you've self-frozen? i'm curious if it puts your pets into stasis or anything else
by stasis do you mean freezing their hunger and happiness decay? afaik it does not, but it's not like there's any consequences to leaving these numbers at 0 anyway* so there's no reason to worry about them going down while you're away.
*(hungry pets can't battle so obviously you'd want to refill that before attempting to do so, but that can be done easily by checking them into the resort/inn)
yeah, no more hunger and happiness decay, although i was curious if it did anything other than indicate you're frozen (strike-through). i guess that's sort of all it needs to do, though. thanks for the reply!
yeah it pretty much just makes it so people can't view your profile or contact you, and clearly indicates that you're not using subeta anymore (at least until you unfreeze). the disable account page says you can request your account be unfrozen at any time, so it sounds like unfreezing has to be approved/confirmed by a staff member as opposed to users just being able to freeze and unfreeze themselves fully at will.
