Hello there! I'm Peg!

It's a tale as old as time: I start playing Neopets again (thanks, John Legend), get really obsessed with trading pets, stop having fun and start being constantly stressed, and then run back to Subeta, where it's easy to make money, get pretty pets, and admire gorgeous art (without having to sit through 452635 cursed trading shuffles).

I used to be super active on here (intermittently) and it's so nice to be back! Truly feels like a breath of fresh air from other petsites -- here, I can just do my own thing and actually achieve onsite goals. My main Subeta activities are doing quests, dressing up my HA, and collecting items for pet treasures. I typically play around holidays so I also enjoy earning (and spending) holiday currency + gifting people around Luminaire!

My questions for y'all: What's new on Subeta? What's the current status of the site + state of affairs? And what do you, personally, do for fun on here? Looking for new ways to waste my time. :P

Hey welcome back! I'm a Neopets vet too and I am OVER IT! I log in sometimes to zap my pet but that's it at this point. Subeta feels so much nicer.

State of the site, I know there are lots of opinions, haha. I actually don't have a strong opinion! I prefer the "legacy" layout of Subeta so that might be tough when it all changes over, if it ever does. For now I'm delighted to play here!

I mostly collect things. Check out my galleries if you get a chance!

Nice to see another Neo veteran! I agree that Subeta feels much nicer -- it's relaxing to come back to, rather than the extreme stress of Neo (at least in my Neo-life, lmao). I also prefer legacy Subeta and am avoiding updated areas like the plague, haha. I love your "Pieces" gallery, by the way. Thank you for leaving a comment! ❤️

Welcome back to Subeta! I can't comment on the state of the site as I don't even have a month on here yet. But I will agree with the above that as a Graphic Designer I think the legacy version is better designed than what we currently have of the modern thus far.

I typically do my dailies and do some easy games. Trying to get into the blue building currently and working a custom dark theme for the site that I will be sharing with others.

I'm actually somehow playing way more now as an adult: doing my quests, trying to get into the blue building which is getting me to do all kinds of other things, building characters and HAs, etc.
