Hello, All! I'm lilli, and i found this place in the comment section of a youtube video about the slow death of neopets. after going through the tutorial and mucking around a little, i am pleasantly reminded of when neopets wasn't dying, so, yeah, I'll probably stick around for a bit.

i suppose i should add a bit about myself - in addition to the usual nerd/autistic interests such as books, video games, and anime(guess why my pet has its name), my biggest hobby is twisty puzzles(the generic term for puzzle toys such as rubik's cubes). I'm not really a speedcuber - i got into it mostly because they make really good fidget toys, and found that i like the puzzle aspect in general; i like learning new puzzles more than trying to get faster at a standard 3x3.

my real life pets are a couple of cats - half brothers, sharing the same dad(a cat that belonged to an old roommate), but are from different litters about a year apart. the Older one I named Beleth, after the cat-like demon described in the Ars Goetia, as I am both a satanist and as previously mentioned a giant nerd, so i tend to name pets after demons as a general habit.

The younger one lived with my parents for a couple years, until my roommate moved out and took her cats with her, and then came back to me so Beleth wouldn't be lonely. My dad named him Gabriel, after the archangel, because he thinks he is funny.

So, anyway, this seems like a pretty cool place, I hope you'll have me!

I probably haven't explored as thoroughly as i should quite yet, but I have found quite a measure of enjoyment in doing the daily quests - just going down the list(being able to pin the list to the sidebar is quite useful) after doing shinwa's chain is somehow soothing.

I am kind of unsure about how long-term a goal getting into the blue building is really supposed to be, though - the only things i have left to do to get in after only four days is getting the requisite number of achievements and forums posts, and being at 96 achievements at the moment of writing, i kind of have a feeling that even with it slowing down as numbers get bigger for progressive achievements, I'll probably hit the 250 inside of two weeks, but the forums posts... might take a few months?

The Blue Building isn't a major part of the siteplay, but if you want to speed up the forum posting process there are a few more sociable threads like in Chit Chat or Forum Games that might help you rack up the posts quicker.

I do think most people probably take the longest getting the forum posts so you're not alone there c:
