I got this achievement but i never pulled 100 from the pond Unlocked Mallarchy Pond Player! Pick 100 mallarchies at the Mallarchy Pond!

That's a tiered achievement. You have the first tier which is for picking 1 mallarchy from the pond
then why does it say 100? shouldn't it say 1?

There are other achievements like this. There's a description beneath the achievement name and tiers below that. Each time you hit a tier, it will say the description. In your case, the achievement name is "Mallarchy Pond Player" and the description is "Pick 100 mallarchies at the Mallarchy Pond!" I guess there's only room for one description, so they use the "final" one which can be confusing.

Oh, yes! That's on my list of things to update. The system before what we use now didn't have tiers the same sort of way, from what I remember, so the text alluded to things more than they do for newer stuff.
