I love the new Clef items from this year's Steamworks range. But I'm struggling to find items for the bottom half that go well with them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I too found them particularly difficult to use. I don't know how many times I started with the bow and ended up removing it because I just couldn't make an outfit work. I finally found a combo with the cage skirt (which I also found hard to use) that I liked: by Lypsyl

And one I ended up using, but was definitely not thrilled with the final result.

That is a nice design. I love the colours. Though I can see what you mean about the second design. It's cute though. :) I've tried and this is what I've come up with for the Arid colouration. What do you think? Does it work? Outfit Not Found

It looks great. My only quibble with it is the extra white fabric extending on the HA's right side. It would be better if the ribbon showed above that - but layering the ribbon in front of the boots doesn't work either. The violin fits in perfectly!

I agree with Lypsyl's remarks about the bottom fabric. I also think the fabric of the skirt has a blue undertone, which is a bit disjointed with the rest of the white of the top and bow.

This was definitely difficult. I took a stab at it though haha.

Thank you. :) I wasn't keen on the white cloth covering the bow either. I wanted to try and give the sense that the ribbon was holding on a train but that was the closest I could find in terms of matching colour. I'll try again.

Thanks for the suggestions and colour matching ideas. I always struggle to get items to match the hair colour. Frequently I give up and just go with the look I like which isn't that great for outfit building. :D
