In online banking, you could see your vault balance (starting from 0), and what you withdrew or deposit. Also, when you made a transaction, there's an ID (confirmation number).

So I'm suggesting, what if there is a way to keep and see your vault balance, the difference, and your onhand sP/csc, and the ID for that transaction?

It could have like the most recent (10 or so) transactions, and while live updates are best, I think it could be cached.

I believe that would be helpful if you and staff have to investigate if a recent transaction had issues.

For example (I think this is worst case): You deposit 123m. Somehow things messed up and then page never went though. Your onhand sP went missing and nothing got deposited. You didn't even see the new transaction ID. The staff sees your onhand sP missing, but they can now see that your vault balance didn't change and no new transaction ID. (I don't fully know Subeta's system, but as of now I don't know if staff could see that the amount in the vault before and after a transaction. If you withdrew and deposited the same amount in succession and something goes missing, this could be a problem.)

Edit: Forgot to mention the obvious, please have a timestamp with each transaction.

I mean, theoretically, it's a fantastic idea but I can hear the complaints about too code heavy now and how Google Spreadsheets lets you do that anyways.

Still, good idea. I wish it would have been implemented from the get-go.

A 'transaction history' for moving currency in and out of the Vault is a great idea, I'm not sure how realistic it would be to implement though (if I remember right, I've seen some talk from Staff about how major inventory/Vault-related actions are a little spaghetti-code-y already and can mess with the server load..?).

I would also be interested to know if there's already a 'transaction history' system in the backend of the site where Staff are able to track sP moving around your account, because I agree that having that information somewhere sounds immensely helpful for resolving support tickets when things get eaten.

Excuse me It took a little while to get my ticket resolved, but if you're interested if there's already a 'transaction history' system, here is what I know so far. (And if anyone else knows more, that would be nice to add.)

They knew the amount I withdrew, and deposited, at which times. No surprise. Also, they could answer for sure if the deposit went in or out, but I had to wait longer to know. What surprised me is why I wasn't able to get an answer to the amount in my vault before and after I made a certain transaction. Any bank should be able to give your balance when you ask.

So that's how I unexpectedly found this out and created this thread.

Also to add about Google Spreadsheets, keeping confidential "accounting" data offsite just isn't the best idea.
