there are some pretty big conventions happening at the beginning of august in chicago, which (at least for the US) is a pretty central location, and that has me wondering about doing our own meet ups. are we allowed to organize them on our own? can we get them sanctioned by the site? getting the achievement would be nice, but honestly just doing a meet up would be great! i don’t have any one that i know irl that plays and it would be great to talk about subeta with real people!

(and even if we can’t, i’ll be at leakycon this year, so if you go i’ll see you there 😉)

They used to be done by staff members at random. Usually planned far enough ahead so users had half a chance to make plans. However they stopped a long while back and idk if they plan to have such events again. You may want to actually submit a ticket asking staff officially.
