Hi there! This is probably a dumb question but where do I see the rules for gifting buddy gold accounts?

I had to cancel my premium recently but now I have a few sitting there. I know I can give them away to someone but am I allowed to swap for buddy gold from someone else? If someone else didn't have premium anymore but had their buddy gold.. could we swap a buddy gold for buddy gold?

Again sorry if this is a stupid question... I looked in the FAQ but didn't see anything about buddy gold only gold accounts in general.

you can definitely sell buddy gold accounts (i bought one just this month! for ingame currency) so i'm pretty certain trading them one-for-one is totally fine too. i think the only discussion i've seen about this is on the discord though? i'm not sure if it's clarified somewhere onsite?

There are no official rules on buddy GAs. Staff have said that they prefer they don't get "sold" to be kept in the spirit of gifts, but there is no rule against it currently, and I get the impression they don't want to make rules about it in the future. As for trading Buddy GA for Buddy GA, I've seen ads for that in the advertising forums, and personally, I feel thats more in keeping with the spirit of buddy GAs than outright selling them.
