I want to create a new steamwork pet. But I'm a little confused on how to do that. On the page for creating a steamwork pet, will just putting in a name into the text box create a new pet? The confusing part is that the drop-down menu to choose a pet to change doesn't have a blank or "none" option. That means I have to have a pet selected. So even though I typed in a name, I'm concerned it will still change one of my existing pets, which I don't want.

I would try filing a ticket to see if they're able to confirm?

I had a schematic and key on hand, so I tested it out and the resulting page just kind of says "your pet will be ready in three days" without making it any clearer that I am, in fact, building a new pet and not changing my existing one. I can't find anywhere at all to confirm that there's even a pet in progress, and I was able to fill my last pet slot after starting it without getting an error of any kind. All that being said, I've made a steamwork pet from scratch before and I think if you write something in the box, then that takes precedence over whatever is in the dropdown. I do 100% think they should make this process clearer though, especially since there's a three-day wait to make sure it worked correctly [edit] Popping back in to say that the steamworks pet I created finished and correctly created a new pet with the name I had typed in the box (and, for what it's worth, the birth/creation date that I started the pet on, not the day it was finished)
