I'm trying to get a 5th win but he keeps freezing me. How can I stop him from freezing me several times in a row? My pet is Tier 11 and his weapons and scrolls are

You received great advice from about adding crystals to prevent freezing. I wanted to comment on your weapon set. You have more main attack weapons in your set than necessary (since you can only use two each turn) and it would benefit you to replace some of them, depending on the opponent. For example, for Gardener Blake, I would only use Tainted Keeper Skull Staff plus one other main attacker (pick one from Blessed Trident, Paintbrush Blades and Replica Minotaur Knocker.) Then you could replace the other two main attackers with healers, bombs or defensive items like shields. You may want to consider adding Recycle Blaster to your set.

Another way to get an advantage over him freezing you is to chain freeze him before he can freeze you. This works by using your freezer (Gatekeeper Collar of Slavery) on the first turn, then using freezing scrolls on the following turns to hopefully freeze him while you do damage. This requires freezing scrolls. Your assassin scroll has a low chance to freeze, but I'm not sure what the percentage is. Shriek of Despair, Cold Blast and Psycho Smasher are freezing scrolls that I use. You can earn them all by battling, but Shrieks are only available to earn during Morostide (and I was unlucky and didn't get a single one last Morostide).

But wait, there's more. You may be getting close to being able to create Intricate Energized Helmet using Tokens in the Battle Shop. That is a freezer, and it protects you from being frozen for two turns. You can check Subetalodge on how to craft that one. The first step is to combine Basic Energized Blaster and Crude Components.

You're welcome. One thing I want to clarify, your weapon set should change depending on the opponent and the types of icons they deal. The winning combo for one opponent will not always be the winning combo for the next opponent. You've got some great weapons! You just have to figure out when to use them based on the icons they block. Have a great weekend!

You already received good advise but wanted to add your pet has outgrown the Replica Minotaur Knocker. It's a nice scaling weapon at the lower tiers that blocks earth, attacks and heals. Tainted Keeper Skull Staff also blocks earth, attacks and heals but does a much better job of those things plus it blocks dark. Put the Knocker away until/unless you have a lower tier pet that can benefit from it.

I've replaced the Minotaur Knocker with an Extendable Elemental Trident because my pet has the 3K in Defense, Speed and Strength.

I added an Energized Helmet and Shriek scroll earlier and tried him again but he still defeated me. Grrr. I hate battling. :D :D

You can have more than 1 shriek (or other freeze spell listed above). Not sure how much AP your pet has but the usual setup for spells is as many freeze as you can get and enough space left for an unlimited use heal spell (demigod or god spell) for when you run out of freeze spells. When fighting the big challengers 1 freeze weapon and 1 freeze spell won't get you too far.

Fighting this guy with my smallest pet now. Part of your problem vs this guy is his blessing blocks freezing. Still freeze on the first turn but after that don't use freeze spells/weapons. Focus instead on bomb or defense spells.

The mod advise to use ones that block his freezing is still very helpful.
