Before we had a Genderless choice, a Gender Berry changed your pet to the opposite of what it was and this was perfect. Male to female or female to male. Now the Gender Berry is random and I think this is unfair. I wish to change this to a select gender item because we should have the choice. These things are expensive.

i thought it was only random if you were changing a pet that was genderless to gendered? i understand wanting a choice tho.

That is exactly what I meant. I just had to buy two of the berries to make my genderless pet into a female. I just want the choice of male or female so I don't have to put it up to chance. I don't mind the genderless choice because some people prefer it and that is fine. But I do not and I just believe it is a reasonable and simple request that I too have the choice. :)

All my pets are male with like one exclusion and I honestly forgot these were a thing until this topic.

Too bad it can't be like a little tick box instead of a 50/50 chance.

it's not random, it will always change genderless pets to male. if you want to make a genderless pet female, you need two berries. which is annoying, so yeah, i would like it if you could just choose when using the berry.

(although i guess that would get confusing because i don't think it's possible to ONLY change the way it works for genderless pets, so would you then potentially be able to "change" a male or female pet to the same gender it already was?)

I think this is a reasonable enough request although I'm not sure how simple it would be to code. Spending 6m just to change a pet gender is a bit much, I agree.

It's not random? This is what Angelina told me:

"Thank you for waiting, and your question's answered in the FAQ: To change it between male and female or vise versa, you can use the item Gender Berry, which can be bought from the Millionaire Center. Make sure to choose the USE ITEM option on your pet, do not feed it! If your pet is Genderless and you use a Gender Berry, it will become a random gender.

If you use a Gender Berry, your pet will be randomly changed to either male or female - there's no way to specify which gender to change the genderless pet to."

And of course, you would then potentially be able to "change" a male or female pet to the same gender it already was. But unless you accidentally choose the wrong gender, that would be irrelevant and they could code that in at the same time to say 'your pet is already a whatever'. Or I would think that would be the case? Then you don't waste the berry.
