Just wondering if anyone has ever actually had anything decent from any of the vending machines?

Also, do the prizes get better as you pass the achievements for vending?

Yes, but very, very rarely. Sometimes donation presents, potions or retired items show up. Some vending machines have special items. You can check the SubetaLodge Vending Guide for details.

What you get from the machines does NOT improve as you vend. Your chance of vending something special on your very first vend is exactly the same as on your 10,000 vend.

I have all the vending achievements, so these days I only vend for Major Drills quests. I will also vend when they open the Freylise shop. Otherwise vending just isn't worth it. When I do vend, I generally just frag everything.
