I did some digging but all I could find were scattered, pain to find posts (such a waste), I couldn't find an actual guide or compilation. However, I have a talent for missing things right under my nose so here I am.

There may have been one many, many eons ago, but as far as I'm aware there is nothing current.

I checked who has a pet with a listing of as many guides as they could find and there is none on the list. The only shops guide is the one for how new shops work. You can check for yourself: Guide to guides.

Yeah, that page was the very first place I looked up. I thought there would be a demand for such a guide that's why I thought I had just missed it. Thank you for your answer!

There has been, I hang around Q&A a lot and its a question that comes up regularly. Unfortunately no one has made one. I would do so myself, but I'm a terrible restocker.

My guide would be this:

• a bit about the mechanics of the shop restocking
• any shop can be profitable, but the real sP is in funding questing. So quest for a while and get a feel of what questers want.
• pick one shop and learn the stock you want to buy. Once you have one shop down pat, pick a second shop and do it again. If you think you can handle it, pick a third shop.
• Then maybe a bit about shop selling, the pitfalls of the autopricer and so on.

Unfortunately I just don't know enough about the nitty gritty details to do it right.

I might try my hands on one then. Hopefully this thread will inspire someone more qualified than me to do it though. What I had in mind was pretty inline with what you posted but now I will definitely highlight more those points. Thank you again!

I could try my hand at making a guide, but I'm not sure how useful it would be because I'm primarily sitting in one shop, but I've probably made a good 600mill from it over the course of two-ish years.

I think the reason why there isn't one is that most people probably aren't restocking for their main source of income. Questing, though it can be tedious, is honestly a lot faster way to accumulate sP, and some of them even give you rare items to sell to boot.

I was also hoping for a RSing guide; I just started the game a few days ago and I am getting the hang of it slowly. I will have to learn the hard way I guess! Oh well, it's sometimes more fun that way :)

to be fair, i wouldn't worry about restocking unless you really want to. the best & most straightforward way of making money is going to be questing. i've never bothered with restocking to any significant degree, and i've been playing for checks notes over 14 years :0
