I've been looking around everywhere for more information about this but couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what minion levels are about when you put them in your minion zoo?

There was a project many years ago - making a mini-minion battle thingie. It does work, but its pretty limited since the feature was never completed. For example, older minions (that existed at the time the system was created) have stats, newer minions do not.

The levels and stats increase as you battle, if you battle and lose, you get a small amount of points, if you win, you get more points. If you have several of the same minion, only the one you actually battle with will improve, the others remain with their original stats. If you battle with a minion, then remove it from the zoo, it will lose all its stat gains.

To play the mini-game, go into your minion collection through the game page, then just click on any minion with visible stats and you will go to battle.
