I think this is the right forum, if not, feel free to move it to the correct one.
And their subsequent recolors all have one toe out on the right foot (our left):

And don't match up to any given socks that I've found, the socks/leggings/etc bag out around the edges of the boots. Even if the item is "skin tight," an outline is still visible and the wayward toe is even more obvious.

😂 That's hilarious! Wayward toe....
If it's meant to be that way, it's easy enough to just hide that portion of the foot in the wardrobe in the base section.

Ikr. This little piggy--
But I don't think it's purposeful as none of the socks/tights/etc line up and end up showing just around the edges.

Whenever I see shoes or boots like that I feel it's meant to be like the limbs are in motion? I might just be wrong here. ^^;;; I know not all footwear is like that.
I mean, I like the notion but it's also... I'm poor? I don't know of many items that aren't CWs that have in-motion HA parts and I'm persona non grata for the CW community.

I'm fairly certain this is on purpose. This isn't the first line of shoes to diverge from the base lineart since the ability to hide body parts was introduced - see examples below - and is seems very intentional to me. The boots have a slight heel, so the toe of the boot is a bit shorter than it would be if they were flat.
I do agree that it's a shame we don't have any socks/stockings/tights that can be worn with these shoes, though. Maybe they could add some basic socks and tights to Sole Train that stop at the ankle, so they can be worn with things like this, plus the more extreme ones like these --
Those have more obvious limb motion though? But I get what you're saying.

I only brought up the three at the end of my post to say I would like tights that work with them as well. The two before were what I was showing as examples of times they've done what they did with the Vesnali Prince Boots before — sorry for any confusion!
Mmmm that's frustrating and not something I had noticed /: The specific way these are drawn means that even some tights that don't cover the toes still stick out on the ankle area. and for example
I don't really understand why shoes that don't reposition the feet or have an unusual angle are drawn in a way that requies you to hide parts of the HA's foot in the first place? It's very limiting
