I just realised I may be pronouncing the name of the site wrong and I'm keen to know how you all are saying it!

I've always pronounced it Suh.bee.ta. with the a sounding the one in father
Interesting!
In my accent it sounds identical when I say it 'Suh-bee-ta' and 'Sub-eater' but that's likely not the case for other accents I'm guessing.

Most likely, regional variations account for a lot of confusion in how we ay things. Someone from ,say, Boston will pronounce "father" totally different from a Californian like myself. Sadly I'm not well versed in universal diacritic markings so I'm not much help there, but I don't pronounce eater as one syllable, instead I split it into ee-ter, if that makes sense. ( I also have a bad habit of rolling my "R"s and pronouncing "Je" as hay... yeah Califor-nisms)
Hmm I'm from Michigan US with a heavy midwestern accent and I say "suh-BAY-tah"!
Soo-Bet-uh but something tells me Soo-bay-tuh is probably right haha
my accent is south English and I've just had a fun ten minutes saying 'Subeta' as naturally as possible in as many regional UK accents as I can think of.
Birmingham and Liverpool I think would likely be saying 'Su-bee-ta' and 'Su-bay-ta' respectively with the emphasis on the middle syllable Birmingham being low pitched and Liverpool high, and Northern Ireland and the west country would add a barely vocalised r's in there like 'Suh-bee-ter' and emphasise the 'ter' with Norn Ireland more clipped sounding and the west country more open. The Welsh accent with 'Soo-bet-ah' with every syllable equally emphasised sounds very right to my ear but I've not spent much time around that valleys accent, so I could be wrong.
and I did more but my dinner has just finished cooking and I'm distracted now.

I tend to do like does. I flip between sue-bet-ah and sue-bay-tah. Sub for short, or for those who have no idea what I'm talking about I just say "the pet website" XD

I'm most like 's second choice, soo-betta.

from appalachia in the us but currently living in the midwest and i've always said it as 'soo-BAY-tuh'...
banner by I've always said it suh-BAY-ta. Not sure if that's correct, but I don't think I'm capable of saying it any other way after all these years haha.
also chiming in for sue-bay-tah!
(also similar but after ten plus years playing wajas and going into a livestream and hearing them pronounce it with a Y???? like excuse me what? lmao so we'll just ignore that and pretend we never heard it lol)

Sue-Bay-Tuh all the way and you'll never change my mind.
I also thought the Clawsion was spelled Clawison. I realized it was spelled the other way after a couple years of playing. It will forever be Claw-is-son
I pronounce it Sue-Bay-Tuh. I never really thought that I was pronouncing it incorrectly, so I'm sticking to that. lol
