I really like the "what did you draw today" topic in the drawing forumn, so I figured I'd open the floor for something similar for writers. Go ahead and share what kind of writing you did today, be it working on an existing project/story/novel, writing some poetry, sending a tough-seeming email, or anything else ^^. Any kind of writing you sat down and did is welcome to be mentioned, just to keep motivation up by logging what you did today. you're welcome to share snippets of anything you're proud of too.

today was a sleepy rest day for me, but i wrote some easy spring-inspired poetry (im so glad its warming up!) and I did a little bit of outlining for my story ^^ taking it easy on myself after a long week!

this is about 1 month old today but I wrote some more of my story unecessarily.

This is what I wrote: --My brother heads to his bedroom, I head in the opposite direction into the kitchen. When I arrive I hear the water heater and shower kick in. Knowing I have at least ten minutes before my sibling is ready to eat; I decided on changing the snack menu. I rummaged through the cupboards and finally found a packet of noodles. I filled a saucepan of water and set it on the stove top, as the water heated I took out the cooked chicken breast from the fridge and peas from the freezer; I did look for a tin of sweetcorn but there wasn’t any. I added the noodles to the now boiling water, I dice the breast in to bite size pieces. I fill another smaller saucepan with peas and water and let that warm for a few minutes. Five minutes later the noodles are soft and hot, I drain the water into the sink and transfer the noodles back to the saucepan added the chicken and peas I mixed them and added Cheese and milk to make a basic sauce, returned it back to the heat and melted the cheese while coating the food.--
