this is not really an issue, because i think it's hilarious, but i was wondering why Sprig was born in the 60s

it's a unix epoch error. most computers/programs determine time and date by counting the number of seconds since the unix epoch date: january 1, 1970. when the value can't be calculated due to a glitch, it defaults to 0—which, in GMT, would in fact be the unix epoch date. but subeta is based in EST, a few hours behind, so it ends up landing the day before: december 31, 1969.

sometimes when creating a pet, this counter bugs out, which is why some pets have this birthday. i've always really wanted one myself! so, congrats!
