After 12 years, I’m finally about to have access to it. I’m wondering how long it took everyone else to gain access to it.

I was inactive for a long time, but then came back and deliberately grinded out the missing pieces, forum posts and achievements. Counting inactive time, about 15 years, not counting around 3 months plus what I played while active (probably a year or two?) I feel like the 100 forum posts is the big hangup for most players.

Congrats on getting access! I don't remember since I gained access so long ago, but I remember I was super excited about it.

If I'm not misremembering, I think it used to be kept super secret so no one knew what it was until they unlocked it. It was so exciting to finally unlock it xD

I don't think it took me that long, but it was years ago so I don't remember. Also I think the requirements were different back then as well. The most difficult part for me was collecting trading cards because most of the other things just came naturally as I used the site. I'm not at all interesting in trading cards so I had to actually make an effort! Anyway, congrats on getting in!

The posts part is a big hang up, because that's where I'm at now. I am a lurker, not a poster, haha.

Same here! Only recently came back and trying to make an effort since it's the only thing i'm missing.

I'll have to admit I didn't initially love being forced to chat but it actually helped me make some of my first good Subeta friends, and the community is now a major part of what keeps me here ❤️

See, the only problem I have with that is I have a habit of falling off the face of the earth for a bit. xD

Update: i guess it took me 15 years, even though i wasn't around for most of it! The posts ended up taking like 2 weeks but no idea about the rest since the requirements changed over time and when i came back i already had most of the current ones :)

Its was so long ago...but I'm pretty sure it was in my first year onsite and I think my stumbling block was pet training.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one on the posts part of unlocking it though I'm a lurker as well xD

I've been playing for a week and i only need 2 more things to complete to get in the blue building. I think i've been playing a little too much!

I'm still working on it. All I'm missing is the 100 forum posts. And while I participate in holiday forums, apparently it hasn't been enough to stack up all the posts yet.

You didn't misremember it. Revealing what was in the building was a freezable offence. I was very disappointed when I finally got in there because quests to go up in rank were hideously expensive and there wasn't much to buy with points. The building has definitely improved since those early days because quests are cheap.
