Hey again! Sorry for asking so many questions, but I was playing with the text in my signature, and I was wondering if there is a way to change the color/font of the actual forum text?

I know that I could technically type it out like this for example, but is there any way to consistently change the appearance of all of my forum posts without messing up my signature?

I don't think there is.

You can change how forum posts look for you alone through custom CSS.

Otherwise, if you want to set up a permanent forum text I would recommend using the notepad to type out the codes. You'll probably have to encase it in the code, code, then all you need to do is copy paste it to your forum text.

i think they mean putting it in the [code]words[/code] thing but w/o the *'s of course

Yes, if you want your posts to look different consistently, you would have to type out (or copy and paste) the coding for each individual post.

What was talking about was if you use the notepad widget, you could add a code box with your forum text coding inside it and just copy and paste from there to make it a bit easier, but you would still have to paste it into the post. For example, you could put this (including the code boxes) into the notepad widget and then paste it in when you type a message and type in the middle part without having to actually type out the tags themselves every time:

we did actually used to have custom forumtext! but sometimes it made posts really hard to read, so the feature was discontinued when the forums were recoded.

I thought I remembered that vaguely, but I never used it myself so I wasn't positive if that was here or a different forum.
