My pet went into the Rift and was "swallowed whole". MY PET IS GONE!!! Can this happen? Will my pet come back again??? It doesn't say that your pet can be gone totally. I'm confused about my pet being gone. Has this happened to anyone else?

The pet will come back eventually, it just takes a few hours :) It may come back a little different looking though depending on what you threw in.

this is the method to get Riftborn color pets, or if they were a species without the color, one of the two RA pets ^^ they should be back in about a day or so.

Mine came back if you want to see a Kumos with the rift look. It's Fuego_829. I just wonder if there is a way to cure the look.

You can always change it! If you want to make it a common kumos, use the on it. Or choose a different color, some examples:

Or pick a different Elixir and change it into another pet completely, some examples:

The elixirs are the simplest, cheapest and quickest ways to change your pet, but there also many other options available. Just choose what you want to change it into, you can see what Kumos pets are available here and ask how to get that type.

It said to wait a bit, and I'm glad people have experience with their pet returning from the Rift hours/days later.

I tossed mine into the Rift because I was unfamiliar with Rift experiments and was hoping mine would come back as an Experiment 932 again because some random event turned him into an Experiment 8001. I miss looking at my Gargoyle Child and his matching Ground Dragon.

UPDATE: It's the next day, and he's returned as an RA-001. He doesn't look too bad, tbh. I might keep him like this instead of continuing to zap him however many times it takes to get him back to being an Experiment 932.
