I'm getting an error that I have too much SP to do Sarah's Quests and from my googling it looks like there's not meant to be a limit for her anymore.

Here's what I get: "Oh No! You can't do my quests with that much sP! Try Saggitarius!

Sarah is a quest for starting players with above-average rewards to help new users get used to questing, and give them spending sP!"

It's possible that the limit has been reinstated intentionally which would be a bummer but if not something is amiss.

Pretty sure the limit was removed for newbie accounts... under a month old i think?

But the limit was upped from having less than 750,000sp to having less than 1,500,000sp to do her quests.

oh interesting, maybe I'm just no longer a newbie account? (ETA: Oh wait no that wouldn't make sense I'm a much older account than a month and I was able to do them yesterday....)

The wiki says "As of now, Sarah's Quests are available to all users regardless of the amount of sP in their accounts." but that could just be out of date info..

From the FAQ:

IME the shop till doesn't actually seem to be counted towards the limit even though it's supposed to be, but the sP limit from other sources does still exist

the confusing thing though is that I could do them yesterday and I've had well over 100 mil on hand, it seems like the limit was removed at some point but was maybe added back or I've been glitched all along until today?

best thing to do would probably be to file a ticket, us users arent really gonna be able to help other than stating the faqs and what weve seen/come across

I was always under the impression she had the 15mil limit regardless(tbh Im not sure Ive done one of hers lol)

fair enough, I just wasn't sure if anyone else was having the same experience but if it's just me a ticket makes sense

tbh I havent seen any posts about it before now, so if they are they arent saying or just filed a ticket and no thread..theres a good chance theyll tell ya in the ticket to make a post though

yeah lol I just went to file a ticket and I don't think it qualifies for what they want tickets filed for so I'll just see if I get a staff reply here since it's not urgent.

If you had 100m on hand at the time of doing them, that's definitely a bug. She's correctly telling me I can't access her quests at the moment, but I don't look at the page regularly to know if it just got fixed, etc. But it may be possible your sP was in a place like your shop till/s where it isn't counted? Or possibly they changed the time limit and haven't updated the FAQ, though I'm not sure why it would be telling you that you don't have access now since your account is showing 5 months and 4 weeks instead of being ticked over to 6 months yet.

Either way, it seems to be working correctly today as far as I can tell (aside from the fact that she can't see shop tills)

nope the sP was all on hand this whole time but the wiki for Subeta seems to suggest that she no longer had a limit so I'm guessing it's either a long standing bug that just got fixed or she's not meant to have a limit and this is the bug

I don't think the wiki is updated very often, and it's not an official source. I don't remember ever seeing anything official about her having no limit at all intentionally, even temporarily (for Quest-a-Thons, etc. people typically use a workaround like a forum bank because her limit is still in place even during a questing event)

looks like the update was from Dec 4th 2022 but yeah, seems like at the very least I'm not alone in having had access to her quests when maybe I shouldn't have

"Sarah's quests now have a limit of 1,500,000 sP (and new users who signed up less than six months ago can do her quests regardless of sP!). Saggitarius requires you to have at least 1,500,000 sP to do his quests. Before this, the requirements for each quest didn't meet and were a bit on the lower end."

I think the limit was removed for a site event, probably queast-a-thon. Then put back at 1,500,000 on hand once the event ended. I do her quests regularly because sp burns a hole in my pocket and the limit definitely is in place for me.
