howdy subetaheads. my name is seb/mortis, i am not technically new, but uh! i forgot!! to make this thread!!! the entire time!!!! oops???

i'm a terminally artistic autistic nonbinary wizard with level 69 mouse art skills and a level 100 autism beam (infodumping). i'm in my late twenties, and my pronouns are he, they, and it. you can pick one or use any combination of the three.

beware the following strains of brainrot unless you want to get blasted with my BEAM: star trek, a song of ice and fire, disco elysium, fate/stay night, evangelion, madoka magica, sonic, homestuck, and the LISA RPGs. i am so, so normal and can be trusted not to infodump, i promise :^) <--(lying)

i love art, films, games, music, and other media of all types and my brain is basically a sponge for media themes, ideas, and analysis. i have very eclectic taste, but my most enduring favorite genres are fantasy, scifi, and everything morbid: horror art, films, games; horror literature from classic to creepypasta; monster design; true crime; taxidermy and "vulture culture"; mummies and bog bodies; paleontology, anthropology, and archaeology...basically all the scientific fields involving things historical, ancient, and deceased...and so on, and so on. i'm also the current reigning world champion of the world's worst blorbos.

additionally, i listen to a very wide variety of music, and though my tastes--as with most things--skew alternative/gothic, i am always very open to music suggestions! probably moreso than anything else, to be quite honest with you. i can be a little choosey with anything that requires a lot of time investment like a tv series or anime, but i am almost always looking for new recommendations of music, comics, and films! if you think we have anything in common, please tell me some of your favorites! ^^

to be honest, i am mostly just here on subeta because of getting me interested in the user-submitted clothes and custom pets, so if you want to know who to blame for me haunting the premises, you know where to point your finger. ;^)

i was thinking something more along the lines of living tombestone's cover of spooky scary skeletons, possibly bass boosted. i may be creepy, but at heart, i am merely a clown. u-u

i know, i know. avert your eyes! ;; lol. yuki helped me dress before, but when my interest in subeta waned, i gave her all of it back. so you'll just have to excuse my scrubbiness for quite a while, as i am averse to doing any sort of daily quests for NPCs in exchange for pittances of currency. so i probably will be broke with no clothes until i can submit my own or start taking art commissions. i'm just more interested in actually doing work that benefits somebody else instead of clicking around for mindless NPCs. hope that makes sense. i've heard good things about jesus christ superstar. i could probably look into it. books, i can't afford. and an infodump is...well. o_o pray you never find out.

I met my husband because of Fate. Good to see another who can just happily infodump! It's not exactly my cup of tea for most of it, I like Garden of Sinners more, but it's something you're welcome to chat with me if you see me about (I am not very active in the forums, I have a 6month old so I kinda rarely pop on.)

yes i do usually ask her for anything i need help with, but thank you! i appreciate the tip about where to locate the dashboard (i am not the biggest fan of all the nested dropdowns; i'm sure i'll get used to it in time tho) and the helpful links so that i don't have to ask her for every little thing, haha. ^^

yeah...fate/...definitely has its issues. i actively dislike the vast majority of fate/ that i've tried to get into, actually. i'm an enjoyer of the /stay night and /zero adaptations and that is it, lol! there is just a certain kind of Anime Brand Nonsense™ that you can't really frontload your show with without me dropping it instantly. i have to at least be invested before you can start being weird and gross about the women characters cough fate/extra cough fate/apocrypha... >> i haven't gotten into any of the rest of the nasuverse, either tho. i have heard of garden of sinners and tsukihime, but i basically know nothing about them. seeing as a lot of the things i'm into have such obtuse barriers for entry, you'd think i'd love digging deep into all those visual novels, but for some reason i just never really get around to it?

anyway uhh clunk clunk minecraft skeleton noises :^) as miraculous and fulfilling as children are i do hope you manage to find some peace for yourself with a 6 month old in the house!

Finding peace is hard. Also fate/ isn't so bad if you just stick from the Stay Night timeline (Zero, UBW, and HF) or have played the VN. The VN is kinda where it makes sense for that anime stuff you see UFOTABLE doing. Garden of Sinners is AMAZING. the Nasuverse has some of the best story telling in it. Though it can be super confusing because they all happen out of sequence.

It sucks that it's only ever come in as Subbed, as I have eye issues that make it hard.
