This came to me in a dream so I'm feverishly writing this up before I forget. The ability for a pet to unlock species/colour combos and change back into those unlocked ones at will. Achievements for unlocking certain combos/all in a set (all reborn species/colour combos, all dawn, all nostalgic, all experiments, etc.) Incentivizes zapping as well.

Sorry if this has been suggested before, did a cursory glance and didn't see it.

I think if we want Subeta to survive for another few years, the strict code of "No HA houses/no pet wears/etc" will have to be something that drops from the site.

I'm not particularly sold on the idea but I'm also not completely against it. It has potential to bring in players that otherwise may not join. It also sounds like a potentially good sP sink and I know that tends to get some heads turned.

Being able to rotate back to previously zapped species would be kinda cool especially if there were achievements related to it.:)

I don't know if i'd call it a wardrobe exactly, more like different pet versions. (wardrobe reminds of the nightmare that became neopets lol)

I'm a little iffy on the idea personally but it might be interesting.

It's not a bad idea but I don't see them putting it in place. We can't even get half the site working correctly still. (no shade. I've always loved this site and I'd be heartbroken to see it end. It's just getting progressively worse.)

I'd be down though if it worked correctly.

i dunno, that kind of seems to go against a pretty basic facet of how the site is intended to function. transforming your pet is a one-time deal. if you want them to go back to a previous species/color, you have to go through the process of changing them again. it doesn't really make sense to just be able to change them to anything at-will.

I don't like the idea of the change back a pet. That is what redying and re-zapping is all about. BUT I could see the neohomes being a thing.... just with all the stuff we have but not with Flash like Neo. more like the wardrobe we have now . a background, a home and whatever little decorations are outside. maybe like a pet - a TC of all the stuff we want in a home? Sp sink for rooms, but again just lke a pet or a HA and not looking around. If the site can even function. It feels like its dying as it is now. more brokage isn't going to help.

I'm not against these features, but who is gonna program them?

We have no plots, things that have been promised years ago fell off the wayside because we don't have the artist and programming workforce we need.

I wouldn't mind pet wears, but the idea of having your pet be able to changed in everything it has been in the past would be broken because of the zapper

i agree with frenchis sentiments on the matter, it just doesnt make sense to me, we have the experimental dews and potions

i would probably not use a feature like this, but the idea is cool. probably would be best if it was unlocked per pet with some sort of sP sink. like spend X sP to unlock one alternate form/wardrobe slot for one pet. though i do agree with what frenchi said above, it does kinda go against the way the site is, plus potions and stuff aren't even that expensive and something like this would make them less useful if people could just save every potion they ever use

I guess its more of a "skins" for pets idea, rather than wardrobe.

While I like this way better than actual clothes for pets, I'm still generally against the idea. I guess I just see the pets themselves as static - once you get a color/species that's your pet.

I would like to see a "regret" option where you can revert back to the previous color/species for a limited time, 24 hours, a week, whatever.

They could add it to the Bathhouse pools or the Zapper or something as kind of a "rewind" or "undo" option

I kind of like this idea. I think it would be a fun but expensive collection to fill out. I would not call it a wardrobe though. Perhaps a personal zapper frequency manual. Just something to tie it into lore or a subeta encounters log/nature log/ field book. Like once you unlock a combo you can use your zapper to obtain it. Would be fun for achievements but still expensive to complete

Sounds like a coding nightmare to me. I'm not sold on the idea.

I hate the idea, I actually don't play IcePets specifically because I think turning pet colour-species combos into a "collectible" feature ruins the core of the game. Its hard to explain, but not only does replacing consumables (elixirs) with "collectibles" cheapen the gameplay... but my pet stops being a pet, my, for example, current sun rreign stops being a sun rreign but becomes an amorphous collection of all colour-species its been. My pet stops being a pet it just transforms into just another collection.
