I think I'm in the right place for this, but if I'm not, please point me in the right direction. I'm somewhat new to forums here. I don't know if it's just... me being hyperaware of things, but the Happy-in-the-Pants minion has a uh... description. (that says: Happy-in-the-Pants It love you long time. ¢¾) A lot of people probably already know this, but... the whole "me love you long time" thing is an uh. Anti-Asian racist caricature. It was kind of upsetting to find it on this site, which is usually very pleasant and rather progressive. I assume it was written out of ignorance, and not malice, but it would still be nice if it could be updated to something a lil less stereotype-y and derogatory. Thanks for reading, and again, I really hope this is the right place.

I think you're making a big deal out of an item that has really nothing to do with the phrase and doesn't make sense in the way you are comparing it. The description is supposed to be, in my opinion, cutesy because the art of it has a smiley face in some long pants. While it can be misunderstood, I don't think this is a valid comparison because there is no indication the pants are sexual or the item is meant to be sexual.

i wouldn't say there's anything wrong with the minion itself but that description could use a change. i think it probably was an intentional reference to the movie quote way back whenever this was added to the site; it's been stated that item artists & adders have often just gone with the first thing that came to their mind when writing an item's description, resulting in non-sequiturs and occasionally poorly-thought-out references.

Yes, I think it has to be changes, like many other more. Like as far as I know a double "z" it's a tz, like in pizza, and saying "nazzy" sounds like nazi, which is extremely insulting IMHO, not only for Jewish people like myself.

oh wow that is bad. I've always pronounced it like in snazzy, just without the "s". But now that you've brought it up, even the soft way I say it sounds bad.

If it matters, has been mentioned on that forum, actually! I think it was on the 6th page when I was browsing through the pages out of curiosity, by . I think it may already be added to the list of items to forgo a change but I doubt it could hurt to bring it up again. Just an FYI!

Just as an aside, as a fellow Jewish person I do not personally feel offended by the Nazzy as I always pronounced it like "snazzy" without the "s". As with the previous minion though, I'm still fine with a change if others feel offended by it. I don't pay attention to 90% of the items as it is.
