Hello! I'm new here. I got tired of mobile games, so came looking for an old fashioned passtime.
Any tips for newbies? I've done Sarah's walkthrough. Should I do all her quests? are they worth it?

Welcome to Subeta! Generally speaking, Sarah's quests are all profitable and you make a really good sP profit! There might be an odd occasion where an item is very new or something, and possibly not worth it, but after you do a few quests you will probably realise what is abnormal in pricing.
Actually all quests are overall a profit, though some quests like Library might give a little less sP, but the items are profitable.
There's a few guides to help out below, but don't be a stranger if you've any questions!

I recommend starting the day with Shinwa quests, and then try to do as many of the others as you can bother with. I usually make the Wizard quests a priority myself. To better keep track of your quests and also other neat shortcuts, you could go here to add widgets to your sidebar.
Something I do to earn sP while questing is buy items from main shops when I see the price is way lower than in the user shops. Restocking in general can earn you a lot of sP, but it is time consuming.
There are a bunch of things to do around the site. It depends on what you like to do really, if it is to work on your pets profile/story, wardrobe, collections, achievements or battling. Feel free to message me anytime if you need help with anything :)

I love how customisable the sidebar is. Very handy.
I was wondering about the main shops. When a main shop has a good deal on an item, how often will that change? And will it change the price on an item or just stop selling that item?

The sidebar widgets are super handy! You can also add links/shortcuts on the right side.
The main shop prices rarely changes, I think. So it's not like the main shops have good deals on certain items at certain times, the item just sells for more in user shops depending on how high in demand and how rare the item is. If that makes sense.
The main shops will tell you how many is in stock of a particular item. So if you buy something that says only 1 in stock, it will disappear from that shop. The main shops do however refresh their stock quite often, I can't remember if it's usually every 6 or 8 minutes.

Personally, I love customizing human avatars as a hobby here. It requires a whole lot of doing quests and restocking to make enough sP to afford everything lol. Luckily the subeta economy is always moving. It's easy to hustle and make sP without getting frustrated. The human avatar boards are a lot of fun too!
