Hi! I was considering getting a monthly subscription.. I was debating between doing the $10 or $15 one.

My question is they say "monthly" so are you able to cancel these or are you locked in for 12 months? If you cancel will you be dinged? Can you downgrade to say the $3 one if you find yourself not on the site as much?

I tried browsing around and looked at Gold Account FAQ the but didn't see anything exactly answering my question but I'm sorry if I missed the board about it.

It's been a bit since I subscribed, but I paid month-to-month. I started at a higher tier, and lowered it to the $3 when I wasn't playing much but still wanted to support, and eventually canceled it when I hadn't really logged in for months.

It's a recurring monthly subscription on the same date each month, but you're not locked in for any period of time. You can cancel at any point and it'll basically keep your temporary perks like the GA active until the date on which you would've been charged next so you still get the full month. The buddy GAs and CW vouchers stick around after you cancel too so you can use them later

Okay awesome! I'm glad I asked since I'm one of those people that gets really into a game for a period of time and then fizzles out a bit off and on and it's random when it happens. haha I'm gonna start with the $15! Whoo! :)

One more question if anyone knows.. where do you see how much longer your gold account lasts? I've been using the 1 week gold metals but wasn't ever sure how to check?

go to Personal->Dashboard.

You may get a 504 error (the page has a few calculations to make so it can be slow), if you do, just reload.

Near the bottom of the info on the left you will see:

Gold Account Info Bought on Expires on Time left (roughly)
