why is there always no news post about the weekend quest? this has been going on for a long time

It's something wrong with the cron, and there's like no programmers besides Keith, who has a more lucrative job.

At this point I would completely eschew them and just do some rampant testing ('Let me see if I can change the WQ giver each day, and then I can narrow it down to changing each weekend')

But since there are more artists than programmers, I do hope we get some items from it instead. Petition for a "Working ON the Weekend" sticker in Pete's Quest Shop.

It's stuck on Pete because it's an issue with the cron not rotating the WQ. And we literally have no programmers.

I hope we get compensated in some way when it's fixed. It's getting old and boring

It would be good if we had an update about this in the news. And also to let us know if it was being worked on or not. I think the reason it's stuck at Pete at the moment is because the problem came where the weekend quest didn't change until later in the day, when people had either already done their quests or were in a later time zone and didn't want to stay up and wait, and it just happened to be Pete at the time when they decided to have it not change while they worked on it, but like I said, I don't know if they actually are working on it or not.

Until we get a post that it is fixed, it's going to be Pete. Saturnine did a wonderful ELI5 concerning the why of the issues.
