Hello Subetans

A topic to write and share postcards. And maybe to sent around.

When was the last time you sent or received a postcard? Do you like to decorate your postcard with drawings, stickers, paper cut outs, washi tape? What's your favourite postcard, if you hae any? Do you collect postcard?

When I was a child I collected postcards sometimes from places my family did vacation on. Or just to have some memories of places where I was and to talk about later, when I'm a adult. I have postcards, I collect for myself because I like the postcard or I collect a specific theme.

I also wonder if are subetans around here, who want to exchange postcards? Be it for fun or for support or encouragement and so forth.

Lets talk about postcards. ^ ^

I used to be big into PostCrossing back in the day! It was super fun to send and receive them, but I would always struggle to come up with someone to write on them.

I used to do Postcrossing a few years ago but stopped when it became too cluttering for me. I really loved it and I still enjoy postcards. Back in 2013, when I went to California, I started to buy one postcard and shipped it back home to me. I include the date, weather, how I'm feeling and what I'm doing now / where I am. It's less of a clutter and I can actually treasure the memories that comes with it !

I wouldn't exchange anymore for the above reasons but it's a very neat idea.

I have a bunch of postcards that were my great grandmother's. There's some very cool and interesting ones in her collection.
