Lush (the cosmetics company) doesn't do sales except one annual one on Boxing Day, it's a pretty big event for Lush fans, and people often queue before opening time. They did online this year too.

This was my in-store haul this year, I was really impressed with how much was on sale. There were about 15 people in the queue in front of me, but there was so much stock, I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. A lot of people grabbed gift sets but I didn't need any. I regret not buying Hot Toddy, might just pop into the store after work tomorrow, see if there's anything left. Didn't grab bath bombs (regardless of how tempting they are lol) as I have a whole bunch still from misc gifts earlier this year. Everything smells lovely, I'm so happy!
Has anyone else managed to grab some goodies?
Nice haul! I’m not a fan of Snow Fairy scent, but I would definitely go for everything else you bought. Hot Toddy is delicious, that scent reminds me of Cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper.
I used to be a huge Lush addict, but I only shop the Boxing Day sale now. I still have enough things from last year’s sale, so yesterday I just got two Cinnamon Stick lip oils (to give as presents) and a Lord of Misrule candle.
I’ve spent so much money at Lush over the years. It was the first brand to really get me with seasonal/limited edition marketing (Hill House Home is my newer vice on that note). I loved getting the big gift boxes from my then-boyfriend now-husband.

Apparently they reworked the formula a bit in recent years, although I can't vouch for this myself, I still love the scent. You're right about Hot Toddy smelling like Dr. Pepper, no idea how I didn't notice that before!
I'm glad you were still able to use the sale, even if it was for gifts. Are the things you still have left over old favourites?
Hill House Home looks a bit too pricy for me, but they have some lovely, lovely items. The Ophelia nap dress is so pretty.
The lip oils are for coworkers who were out sick during the last days of work before winter break, and my husband actually picked out the candle for himself because he likes Lord of Misrule.
I would say my favorite Lush scents in general are Rose Jam, Lord of Misrule, So White, Snow Showers, and the Carrot line. What about you?
Hill House Home has a good Black Friday sale, and I did some damage at a sample sale in the spring. I don’t have any Ophelia dresses but I do like the Ellies and Athenas on me.

What does he think of the candle? I hear people are quite divided over them, I haven't picked one up myself. I have some of those Snow Fairy melts that can be used in a wax burner but I'm not too sure, seems like a waste as you can't use the product in a bath after, only unused.
I've never tried any of those, some I haven't even heard of! My current favourites are Let The Good Times Roll (hoping they'll make more products of it), Sticky Dates, and Honey I Washed The Kids. Once I'm over the initial dent this haul (and, in all honesty, the 3 subsequent trips to the store) made in my finances, I'm ordering some sprays and more Sticky Dates for sure. They also do a nice anything-citrus scented, other companies make their products smell like cleaning- or toilet products, but I feel Lush gets it just right with citrus.
It's a good recommendation! I'd be tempted to look at some items on sale, but sadly it looks like the shipping to the UK is a bit pricey.
The candle smells really spicy and delicious. It has a strong scent even when it's unlit. I've tried Honey I Washed The Kids but not the other two, although I have seen them at the shops. I'm curious about Sticky Dates. I like Fairly Traded Honey shampoo in regards to honey products. I didn't care for Flying Fox shower gel because I'm picky about how jasmine blends in fragrances. Lush citrus is really unique. Not Lush related, but Anthropologie shops smell amazing because of their Capri Blue Volcano Candle which have such a nice citrus scent.
