We took Evee up to get his nails trimmed at the vet, like we always do when they get too long, nothing new there. I cannot do them at home because I cant see very well and he's very finicky.... but yes he was taken up and everything seemed normal...
The assistant barely had him in back when she came running out saying Evee took a bad seizure.... he's never done that before ever..... He's now he's being monitored and what not, and we go get him at around 5:30
....I'm so upset and scared right now....
[Edit] UPDATE TIME Evee came home from the vet yesterday and was doing fine, in the morning he was soon acting like himself again and we had no problems getting him into his carrier for his following check up. They did some tests, his neurological tests came back fine, we just need to wait on the blood work results. He has some medicine to take for the next week as well.
Thank you for your kind words, it means so much to me and to Evee!
I am so sorry to hear that. I've certainly had my fair share of worries when it comes to my pets; it's always difficult, and I wish Evee the best of luck. <3 Hope you get some good news when you pick him up.
If this had to happen, it's fortunate it happened at the vet's, so that at least he was already where he needed to be. Sending love and I hope he is okay soon. <3

If it's any comfort, your cat was probably in the best place to have a seizure, where he would get the support he needed from professionals who know what to do in those situations. Still, I totally understand the stress, and I hope Evee will be OK!
Thank you both so much! He's doing fine now but he goes back tomorrow for a check up!
Hope he's fine! If it's any consolation, I had several questions for our vet yesterday when we took Pooh and Honey in for their booster shots. I was worried he was losing weight and wanted to make sure he didn't have a liver disorder, or worms or something... He's fine. Just ear mites and a dose of revolution cleared that right up. They go back in in 3 weeks for a check up and their last booster.
My point is, that sometimes it's nothing. Hopefully that's what it is with Evee. Even if it turns out to be something, you did the right thing. You got him in and if it IS something, you will deal with it. You've done all that you can for now. The waiting is the worst part.
I find chocolate helps.
Thank you! Im glad your babies are doing fine! Evee is now, will know more tomorrow, after his check up.
Hope you cat gets better and is fine from here on out.
