You'll probably need to change that number value (lower to bring it closer to the left, higher to push it farther from the left) If you send me the entirety of your code I can tweak it for you

You can also reduce that gap with .column{padding:0; width:100%;}

and then ul.column li{margin:0;} if you want them to get really friendly
