Howdy. Merry Lumi.

I haven't had the need to post any real life photos since the death of photobucket (dead to me anyway). However, I find myself in a pickle and I'm trying to post a pic from Google Photos. I've tried using the img code, as I usually do with online pics, but I get an "invalid" message or a broken photo pic. I also created a DropBox account (for this one picture)... that sharing link didn't work either. The share link from both places starts with "https".

What am I missing?

:)Thanks for your help. :)

I've been running into images with the extension: .webp that get the invalid error here. Maybe that's it? Image files that work here are: .jpg, .gif and .png - other file types might also work, but I know those 3 in particular work for sure.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/dgshfwaop5esg1m/Acrylic%20pours%20%28edited%29.jpg?dl=0 I see the .jpg :) I was told it was visible to the person that needed to see it, so I guess it's just me.

I guess we can close this down. Thank you.

you need the direct image link, the one you get when you right-click the image and select "open image in new tab." it must end in .jpg, .gif, or .png (possibly other file types like .bmp work but idk for sure). i find imgur is the best for easily uploading images and getting their links.

That did it! Sad that the link they created for sharing didn't work. Thank you.
