Hello! In the spirit of Luminaire, I'm trying to find ways to gift people things off of their WLs, and, as a newbie, I don't know the best way of doing it. I know there's a way to search my own WL against the items in a shop. Is there a way to search another person's WL against the items in my own shop? Or the items in my inventory? Obviously I could just pick something and buy it for them, but if I already have something they want then why not give it to them. Is there a good way of checking this?

each item on their wishlist should have two icons under them: a shopping cart and a magnifying glass. the cart links to the shop search, while the magnifying glass does an account search that will tell you whether you have that item anywhere on your account, and if so, where it is. unfortunately you'd have to do this for each individual item one at a time. wishlists used to display if you owned any items on them, but it put a strain on the servers to have to check so many items at once, so this feature was removed many years ago.

Ahhh ok, thank you, that makes a lot of sense. I was wondering why there wasn't an easy feature like that, but I can see how heavy use of that would completely overwhelm the servers. I'll do it the old-fashioned way for the sake of the site.

There's also this search page where you can paste the name of an item and get a list of users who have that item on their wishlist if you're looking to get rid of specific items you already have
