Soooo usually I know if you buy csc directly you use a bank tied card. However I'm curious if we are able to use say a Visa/Mastercard gift card to buy csc. Does anyone have experience with this method? I'm asking because I won a costume contest at work and part of the prize will be one of those types of gift cards and if I can use it to buy csc that will cover Lumi and then some extras for the holidays here.

not sure if yougot an answer or not yet, I just sa this myself...but I believe(keyword here) as long as its a visa/mastercard you should be able to, but your best bet would be to file a ticket and ask

I forgot to update this!! I did file a ticket. So yes you CAN use those prepaid gift cards for csc, however it's still subject to taxes so if you got a $25 card you have to make sure /WITH/ taxes it can cover the purchase. So no matter what you'll end up with an odd leftover amount on the card. I'm just gonna go use mine for gas or groceries. It was nice to win but a true PITA to use up.
