I'm trying to raise my pet's intelligence, and I was unable to find anything in the FAQ about it. What do you guys think is the best method?

Reading books is the easiest though you can also use tomes and other items.

The points earned from Mystic Spindles also provide a way to increase intelligence, but the cost goes up as intelligence increases, so it's only worth doing early on, if at all. (For what it's worth, I raise all my pets' intelligence to 40 via this method before reading any books to them - but it is a slog, and if I was in any hurry at all I wouldn't bother with it.)

I just came looking for a place to brag about my pet and it relates to your question. I think reading books is the best way, as you get a point for every book read. My biggest reader is Penny (for short) and she just hit 3000 books read, and is in 2nd place on the high scores list. Her intelligence is at 3088 now. I think battling can increase it, but I'm not sure, and also if you get jobs for your pets and collect income everyday you sometimes get a random increase of one point for that. Have fun!!
