Image code not working (SOLVED)

As the title says, I’ve been trying to use the image coding for forums and sMail (Mostly sMail), but no matter what image I use it says “Invalid Image”. I thought you could use this for just about any image. The one’s I’m trying to use it for are 200x200px and 600x600px, which from what I understand are both within the guidelines. Maybe I missed something and I’m actually not doing it right lol But I’m trying to use them from Imgur, if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help in advance!

does the link you have for the image end in a file format like .png? It needs that otherwise it won't work. You can see it with the example image on the sCode reference:
if you remove .gif from the end you get the same result as your image:
For imgur you have to click on the post > 3 dots in the corner > Get share links > BBCode (Forums) option.

Oooooh I see! That makes so much more sense now! Lol thank you for clearing that up! I was just “grabbing” the link and using that one. I think I remember having this issue before and I just completely forgot about it lol I always forget there’s other link options to choose from.

No problem, glad that solved it ^^ Imgur is a little annoying in regards to this, since the link you get as well the three other share link options are essentially just a way to link to your post on Imgur and not just post the image.

Yeah I don’t understand why there’s so many different links. I get they probably all have their purpose, but eesh! lol But I’d been meaning to try and figure out how to do this sooner in preps of opening an art thread. This will make it so much easier now! XD
No, me neither, it seems wholly unnecessary. The markdown variant is useful I guess, but the others just feel like they bog down the process of getting the link (probably because they actually want you to visit Imgur to see the image). Good luck with the art thread ^^
