what is the best way to utilize boosters along with books to get as much AP as possible for my pet ? do I use boosters, then 16 books ? how does this work....I suffer from CRS :)

You only gain an AP point by reading a book, but if you boost past a multiple of 16 where you would normally gain it, you’ll get that point, or as many as you’re “owed”, the next time you read a book. (It might be the next time you hit a multiple of 16 with a book, I can’t remember for sure…)

So essentially you don’t need to be careful about boosting, you’ll never lose out on AP. You’ll still get all your points.

Thank you so much :) I think I kind of always thought that if you use boosters that you'd gain AP for them once you read books ? so in other words... let's say I use 32 boosters then read 16 books i'd get more than 1 AP ? not sure if i'm making any sense lol

You get AP on every multiple of 16 intel, doesn’t matter whether you get those intel stats by booster or book, it’s just that you have to read a book to like activate earning the AP.

So theoretically you could boost by 1600 intel points, and then the next book you read will trigger it and you’ll gain 100 AP.

I did just test it, the book doesn’t have to be on a multiple of 16 to grant all owed AP.

You’re welcome! And yes, other stats don’t mean anything for AP, it’s only tied to the intelligence stat. So if you’re using strength or speed or whatever boosters that won’t do anything to increase AP.
