Zuko

Ozai Spicy boys! As amazing of a duo as they are, I'm not big on fan pets, so I'd like to rehome them with someone who will give them the care that they deserve.

I would prefer for them to stay together, or at least stay close somehow. For example: If you and a friend wanted to apply together, that would be fine. ^^ Feel free to apply in any way that you see fit -- and please don't feel as though you have to spend a ton of time on anything!

oh i would be completely insane if i didn't apply for at least zuko! i admit that ozai doesn't have a place in my heart, which is why i won't be applying for him. but zuko, oh zuko... ever since i first saw him in the early 2000's (i'm thirty-two now!) i was admittedly smitten. i found his character arc to be something entirely beautiful and something that he truly deserved up to him becoming a true member of the gaang. atla definitely has a special place in my heart and to have my favorite character from it would be just fantastic!

HELLO I would LOVE to take them both!

As the person who always ends up roleplaying the villain, I have a soft spot for Ozai. Meaning he's awful, but, ah. He clearly adored Ursa. He craved power. He got what he wanted, but at what cost? How much of his abuse towards Zuko began to stem because of how much he reminded him of her? Not at all an excuse, but did it ever make him feel guilty? What about Azula, so much like him? Did he ever worry about her?

I would likely make Ozai a Reborn Lain or Fester. Right now I am feeling a sort of... character study? For him. Perhaps some sort of journal he's written (likely when he's sitting in prison, pftlb) or thoughts attached to particular scenes in the show.

And, of course, I ADORE Zuko. His arc is handled so beautifully, it was the first time I went from disliking a character to actively rooting for them. Standing up to his father during the eclipse was just... such a moment. Every time I re-watch the show, I'm so proud of him.

And then his paranoia post-show--and being right! Finding his mother... damn, that hurts. Taking care of Azula. His attempts to help backfiring (pardon the pun) because the people of the town were now mixed, despite being from two different Nations, and having to learn and grow from that--I love that "becoming Fire Lord" wasn't the end of his journey.

And he gets a dragon! Did he brag about this to his father? Rub it in his face? Probably. I hope so. He deserves to!

I am not 100% sure how I'd handle him--everyone knows Zuko! Perhaps just more quiet moments between ATLA and Korra. Teaching his daughter broadswords, because I refuse to believe he didn't! Iroh's death. Tea. I'll certainly figure out something!

I DO tend to work a bit slowly on pets, but I give them lots of love!

Im sorry to apply twice, but Ozai caught my eye, and my mind has just run off with thousands of ideas for him! First, I would not be using him for a fan pet, but for an original character who has seen so much disaster in his young life, that his name itself begins to become infamously intertwined with disasters themselves throughout history.

Though he is and looks young, Ozai is a product of a line of those who were known to show themselves only before or after disaster strikes. From a young age, he was cursed to remain everlasting, much like his father, and his father's father's father before him. You see, initially, this was a gift bestowed on the town, a guardian who remained ever vigilant and ready in the face of danger... but as time wore on, and he would surface in the face of disaster after disaster, his life took on new meaning to the village around him. Instead of being the one true savior, he was instead likened to that of a bad omen. Always rearing his head in the face of disaster both natural and supernatural. No one was thought safe should he expose himself to the town in any way shape or form.

I would love to go deep into his history, and finally redeem him and his family's curse, turning the tides on disaster and once again bringing forth peace for all who settle this town.

So many things I have planned for his treasure chest, especially time pieces, to illustrate his existence outside the limits of time.

There is so much I want to do with this pet, Ozai is just the perfect name...
