My 21 years old cat got from 6.8kg to 1.6kg in a week...My vet told me in this many words "you can't cure old age" My cat, my beautiful white Sherlock, looks like the phantom of the tom-cat he used to be...I'm sad. To the point I'd rather stay at work and not come home. Just saying...just...venting...21 years is a long life and he had a great one. Still too soon to let go though...my heart aches.

I'm so sorry. :( 21 years is such a short time for humans, but it really shows how loved and cared for Sherlock is!

I understand this quite well My old boy is 17 this month! He suffers from asthma at age 4, and kidney disease since age 15. Both things factored he's ok. However he doesn't have as many teeth so he lost weight since he can't crunch food. I've been giving soft food and safe human foods to perk his appetite. He still does try to eat hard kibble but simply can't. I'm looking into ways to help soften the kibble that isn't just water since the kibble is essential for his kidneys and also expensive. It's 60 bucks for 8 pounds, I could buy like 30 pounds of mid grade cat food for that price!

FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.

Thanks for understanding <3

Oh, wow, I get what you're saying, I also have a 15 yrs old with kidney problems so I understand the struggle and prices...

Now for a sad update...Sherlock is gone, went quietly to sleep and never woke up. Nature did what was supposed to I guess...Thank you both for being here for me guys, really meant a lot <3
