I use my wishlists for a variety of purposes: tagging items I'd like, items I still need for collections, tracking custom wearables I own, items for pet treasure chests, and so on. It would be really helpful if we could have the border color shown around the item change depending on what list it is a part of.
This way when searching a shop by wishlist, it's easy to identify the specific items you are looking for. Same with restocking--I use my wishlists so that the border shows up around an item on the final purchase page, and I can track it's an item I wanted for a collection/wardrobe/treasure chest so I can quickly find it again in my inventory.
While hex codes would allow users to match their themes, I'd honestly be thrilled with a standard drop-down with ROYGBIV options.
Does anyone else use their wishlists like this, to where color coding them would be helpful?
[edit] Sorry, this can probably be deleted or locked...The wishlist suggestions thread hasn't been posted on since 2020 (past the 15 month necro rule) so I couldn't have posted there anyway, but saw this was shot down as not feasible to implement?

Yeah, it would be useful. LOL sometimes I get stuff in my inventory that shows up wishlisted and I have no idea why. However, as you've noticed, its already been shot down.
You can search your wishlist if you ever get really confused, I've done that before to figure out why something had the border. Not quite as convenient, but it can help.
