The millionaire center offers a 30% main shop discount card for 150 million sP. My question is: does this discount last forever? Or is it only a temporary discount, like how the 15% discount goes away after a while after you first trigger it? I can't find anything about whether it's permanent when I look.

yes, it lasts forever! it does need to be in your inventory for it to take affect, though. i just keep mine locked in my inventory. and after you've bought stuff with it active, you can even check how much the card has saved you here! it does take A LOT to break even with it, though. :0

Thank you! Yeah, it does seem like it would take a lot to break even--I wonder why you can't just 'use' it and have to keep it in your inventory tho. A bit odd. That's really cool though! I was just curious cuz I was like, "if this isn't permanent why does it cost so much?" so I'm glad to know it's definitely permanent. I don't have one myself yet though! I'll have to decide if I'm willing to go for one. It wouldn't stack with a 15% discount would it? That would probably be broken so I'd understand if not. Would be pretty epic though,,,

It does stack with the 15% discount - one applies and then the other, so they don't add together to a 45% discount, but if my math is right, it should be about a 41% discount in total (the 20% discount card + 15% buff works out to around 32%)

i guess it was easier to implement that way, not sure! it is kinda nice though because if you ever decide you don't want it anymore you could always try to sell it to someone else. i only have the 20% card and i bought it a couple years ago and it's saved me 47mil. so about halfway to breaking even, lol. and it sadly doesn't work in the subeautique, only in the same shops where the normal 15% discount buff applies.

If you really want to make sure you get your money worth, you will have to buy/re-stock OFTEN. I have had mine for a few years now (I am a binge/hiatus player, so if I stayed more active I could have already earned enough to cover the cost, but anyway). I do quests every day (all of them that I can) so it might pay itself off in time but yeah it's definitely worth it to consider whether it's...worth it haha. It doesn't stack with the 20% off card too, does it?

Now that one it does not stack with. If you have both, it will just count the 30%. So if you have one, you may be less likely to justify the other. BUT YEAH. I hate underselling stuff, so if it is being sold for less than the shop (even with my discount) I will buy up all the items that are super cheap because I figure I can't get it any cheaper. I like hoarding stuff and if no one buys it I just recycle it when it comes up as a beast item. tl;dr 20% card and 30% card do not stack, but if you use a discount card it will stack with the 15% random event. :)

Okay! This is definitely also helpful to know then. I also hate underselling and often check whenever I am autopricing my shop to ensure none of my items go down abnormally in price before submitting my new prices to the server. And the recycle beast is awesome since it makes devalued items more valuable again, I love that feature! If I go for either card I'll go for the 30% one when I go for it. after i autoprice, I will search for all items under 3500 and send them to that shop. When that shop gets full it goes to another shop. I also have a separate one for any items 66 or rarer under 9k and buy them up when they are super low, like 2-3k and turn that into the frag when I get enough/really need crystals. I'm trying to get to the richest user and it has been a long road. Good luck and I'm happy to help!

I remember getting my card from the Crystal Shop. I don't remember the exact amount of crystals, but it was A LOT of fragmentizing to get it. I haven't seen it restock there in many years though.

Discount Card 159,261,899 sP Saved - I RS a fair amount when active, but I didn't pay the full 150M for mine. Usually the best deals on them are when people are quitting and selling things off - I snatched mine up at a fire sale like that, so I've more than made my SPs back.

I have the 20% off card for several years, restock often, and I've saved 61.4M. I'd say the best place to restock is the Apocalyptic Apothecary if you have a discount card and a gold account to make money back quicker.

I personally don't think the 30% discount card is worth the money. It'd take FOREVER to break even!!
