I've been thinking a lot about pet colors, and I decided to round up all the ideas I've had for possible future pet colors into one post.

1 - Futuristic Pets: based on the futuristic side of the Masquerade. I'm talking neon colors, LED lights, tubes, futuristic limbs, cables, etc. You can kinda see the idea in some items, like the rave experiment plushies.

2 - Carnival pets: based on, well, the carnival. Red and gold colors, stripes and swirls, kind of a vintage circus vibe. I don't think there are any pet plushies or beanbags, but i'm talking this vibe.

3 - Saheric pets: could be just a recolor of the common ones, but with the Sacred Lands palette, like the Common Bhakoru looks like.

4 - Fruit pets: Yes, there are cherry pets, but i'm talking about actual fruit patterns. A Watermelon Dillema. A Strawberry Feli. Blueberry Bumbus. Dragonfruit Rreign. You get the deal.

I would love to see some Victorian Goth style pets. But I feel it may collide with some of the ones we have already. I don't really have any examples to give sadly.

a neon-rave-cyberpunk color would be super cool! i know we have blacklight but this could have more of a futuristic body-modification angle.

the saheric idea reminds me of a suggestion from a few years ago for a color based on a blessing from the sand spirit, where the pet would take on that saheric coloration with golden adornments and maybe a sandy ethereal quality... hang on i think i still have the messy sketch i did at the time!

i'd also really love to see a color that evokes a kind of nocturnal / subterranean cave aesthetic – pets that look adapted to living underground (or, in the case of aquatic species, deep underwater). lots of dark blues and purples and bioluminescence and maybe even moss or fungus elements. stuff like this:

I would love to have "Retro" pets. These pets would be done in pixel art and perhaps contain subtle references to retro game series.

I would LOVE saheric pets. I really adore the sacred lands color palette. I'd be even more thrilled if they had custom poses and extra features like jewelry, as in Frenchi's sketch.
