Just curious how many people are on Subeta at night and in the wee hours of the morning. I'm a night owl, so I'm usually always on. 😊

Me, I work night shift so I'm always awake at night. Sometimes my schedule gets messed up on my days off though so I could be around any time.

I'm usually up at odd hours since my spouse works nights and I try to keep to the same sleep schedule.

I've been trying to go to bed at a more 'normal' hour and I think I'm doing better. Getting to sleep around 2-3am. LOL

Midnight on here is only 9pm for me, so yeah I'm normally on pretty late. Plus, my sleep schedule is always either completely backwards, or non existent xD

Hopefully your sleep schedule is better after today since you made yourself get up at a decent time. xD

I have been burning the midnight oil for a while now. Since pregnancy my sleep pattern has been kind of wonky. And it got worse after the little one was born. I was the one usually taking the night shift for feedings! Now we have to swap schedules again, so I'm doing my best to live off the coffee I have long since missed!

Maybe! It'll take some effort to keep it going though. There's a "nightlife" forum group but the last time it was active was 2019. It's pretty quiet around Subeta at night, especially in the last few years.

Aww, that's too bad about the nightlife group. =/ I noticed a lot of the threads and sections even, are very quiet, unfortunately. I love to chat and need to get my forum posts up.. and forum tickets are a good incentive also. hehe

Yeah, the forums are sadly pretty dead most of the time. I started to go off on a rant about that in my last comment but then I decided I didn't want to be so negative. It is a fact, though. Not that I'm doing much to help...I'm not very talkative myself and I'm surprised I even posted here. I have to be in just the right mood to post anywhere lol. Although if the forums were more active I think it would be easier for me to get swept up in that momentum too. I somehow feel like I have to have a really good reason to speak up in such a quiet room. X'D

I think that's the main reason why - from what I've heard, many users prefer to hang out on Discord now. But I don't really use it except to talk to one family member. I'm just not talkative enough for it and I don't have like a friend group to join or anything. Also, I'd prefer to stay on here where my HA and pets are. I don't really understand why people would spend so much on CWs just to go do all their socializing offsite where you can't see them lol.

I think there are just fewer active players in the last few years too. Activity should start to pick up a bit when the big holiday season gets underway with Keelhauliday and Subeta's anniversary, even more so when Morostide starts. But it's still never as active as it used to be.

Ha, that's a really good point! I know I spend $ on CWs so I would rather hang out here too. Plus, my pets are here, like you said.

Yeah, I figured Morostide would bring some people back.. wasn't sure how active Keelhauliday was. Or the anniversary. But it'll be nice to see some higher online users numbers.

I play Sims 4 and I'm in several discord servers for that. Plus one other online pet site. And I talk to my daughter, niece and step son on it.. so it serves a purpose for me. :)

I don't think Keelhauliday is super popular but more people will surely be on trying to RS some loot and they'll probably post a little more just to occupy time between restocks. Hard to say about the anniversary, kind of depends on if they give us something to do. Some years they really go all out and make it a big event and others are like business as usual. 18 years is pretty significant so they'd better do something!

I joined some Fallout 4 group on Discord once and it was super intimidating because I didn't know anyone and I'm not that familiar with how the app works since I barely use it so I was afraid I was always too visible (I mostly just wanted to lurk) and it freaked me out. I am just not that social lol. I guess if you're already there for lots of other groups though, it makes sense to do your Subeta-socializing there too.

Yeah, I don't get into Keelhauliday all that much. But it's ok. I'll dress like a pirate and play along. lol But you are right about the anniversary! 18 is a big deal! So they better do something! I was disappointed when I read in the News post that Morostide is only half of October. I didn't realize that. I don't think it has always been that way.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have done and still DO a LOT of lurking. lol You can set yourself to invisible, idle or do not disturb.. or online of course. I always kept mine online, but I don't think they can see you lurking in a particular channel. Admin might be able to, but not the general public. I might check it out tomorrow... but, I don't know anyone either, so it's not like I see myself chatting any. I might pop in there sometime if I have a question. Ohhh, I have a pet up for adoption. The experiment , but no one has shown any interest in her. And I need to move her off my account asap, so I can get another pet to zap. xD Maybe I can advertise her in the discord server.

I'm not a fan of restocking (especially when it's extra competitive) but I enjoy the maritime theme and I need all the sea creatures (especially any cephalopods) so I roll with it and do my best. I feel like I have better luck with Carl and vending than the actual shop. One way or another, I usually end up getting everything but it's kind of stressful. I always end up having to just buy some of the items at the end. At least being on at night gives us an edge in restocking! :)

I can't say I remember if Morostide is usually longer than two weeks but they do usually have bugs and terrible lag that hinder the start of events and often extend them to make up for that. They should just start early in anticipation of that because it pretty much always happens lol.

I think I set myself to invisible but I just kind of don't trust it? Especially with how the app runs in the background so I'm sort of always logged in. I don't know. Anxiety is so fun! X'D

Good luck adopting out your pet! That's a good idea, you'll probably find a taker on there if it's more active.
