Hey everyone. I looked through the thread and haven't seen a topic about the crypts made recently.

I have been trying to make my way through the crypts for the past few days now. Most times I can't even make it past the first room. Its been very frustrating. On the rare chance I do make it past the first room, I have not yet made it past the second room.

So....... Has anyone else played the crypts lately and gotten far, or maybe even gotten to the treasure room???

I haven't gotten to the treasure room in several months. I have gotten close a few times though.

Getting through is completely random, but I've found most success by choosing a path and sticking to it until I get through, then picking a new path to play.

It can get frustrating, but by picking the same path every play it goes quickly, no second guessing which door to pick, no hesitation, just go, go, and fall through the trap door, LOL.

I just got to the treasure room right now. I got to it a couple of times in July, I believe.

That sounds like a plan! I will try that. That is awesome. Congrats!

Thanks! It's definitely possible, but 100% luck based. I usually start with the lower left door and I click more left doors than right ones. It works about 1 out of 1,000 times. Ha!

I was finding that clicking on doors on opposite ends was working well for a little while, getting me to at least the fourth room. But now its seeming more random again. UGH!

This is the first time I have made it though in a long time I just kept going on the left side as much as possible.

The Crypts

You find a room that seems special, and soon spot a chest. You open it to find...

You take your completed map back to Blake. He doesn't seem interested in what you have found. He takes out 500,000 sP that he uses to pay you for your map. He also gives you access to the Treasure Room where you can choose an item that has been found in the crypts recently.

Very first doorway ...

You get a spiderweb to the face and you flail around for a moment in a very dignified way. When you regain your composure, you are surprised to see that the corridor you were exploring seems entirely different. You wander aimlessly for a while until you happen to stumble back upon the entrance.

Room 2 : You take a wrong turn into a dead end, and when you turn back on yourself, the passage behind you is completely different. You look down at your map to make a note of this change, and when you look up again, you are very near to the entrance. You look around confusedly, then decide to take a break.
