I don't think this is on purpose, that Pete's quests are still Weekend Quests even though it's Monday. That was made last week to make up for lost time during maintenance shut down. I guess you want to reverse it for next week?

Says so in this Pete still the weekend quest. Of course you wouldn't have seen that because they locked it already. Should have waited to lock it until tomorrow so they don't get dozens of duplicate treads.
